Creates a logo for a small farm and olive grove in Brazil

Serra dos Rosas

We have a small farm on highlands, in a region of mountains in southwest of Brazil. Our farm produce cheese, honey and this year we had our first production of olive oil and table olive from our olive grove. Extra virgin olive oil will be the main product of our farm.
We are looking for a logo for our main name, which will be part of all of our different products and packages, as an indication of the local and our commitment with artisan foods of high quality and sustainable production.
The name “Serra dos Rosas” is also the name of the hills where the farm is located (Serra means a group of mountains or a sierra). “Rosas” is an old family name of the first inhabitants and also a flour name (“Serra dos Rosas” = Roses’ hills). The fact we are at the mountains is very unique and differentiates our products, as the culture, the soil and the weather of this part of land have particularities. It is really a “terroir”.
We are open to new ideas, but at first we thought having the logo with the name “Serra dos Rosas” with an olive tree or an olive branch with leaves and olives. It will be nice to have something referring we are at the mountains as for example the way the name is written or the roots of the tree indicating a hill, etc. As stated above it is important that the logo indicates to our customers trust, artisan products, quality, simplicity, handmade, country, mountains.
