Create a monk-inspired logo for a financial blog

Mortgage Monks

We provide education via blog posts, videos, and online classes. Our goal is to help people understand the process of getting a mortgage, understand what factors into the process, and help them make an informed & intelligent decision.

We want to take the headache out of shopping for a mortgage, and ultimately help people move into their dream homes. Come to us, we'll help you reach financial enlightenment.

I'd like to explore the following colors:

Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Let designers make suggestions:
Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.

We went with the name "monks" because we want to be people's advisors. We are not self-interested and have no ulterior motives.

We are also experts in the field, having spent years working in the industry we have picked up some wisdom along the way.

We are open to all ideas - typography or graphic logos.

Graphic logos are not required to include any element, but may include elements from buddhism or gregorian monks, buddhism symbols in general, etc. Graphic logos may also include characters (human or animals), homes & financial symbols. There is no prior art to leverage.
