We are big fans of Uber's old logo. Obviously we don't want a derivative work, but it's a good reference of things we like. Ultimately we are looking for a strong logo that can be used as an icon, banner and favicon.
The logo itself should be able to be contained in a square, with our company name off to the side / below it.
The attached sketches are some ideas, but we are not in love with them and would appreciate to see things that are completely different from them as well.
We use Gotham as our font on the website (typically with a bold weighting for the company name, but we are open to change).
