Morning designers - create a logo for a gaming company!
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
SGA (Star Gaming Advisors)
SGA is a new consultancy puts people together and builds opportunity within the mobile app ecosystem. Designed to leverage a deep industry knowledge and huge combined network within the gaming and app industries, we put the best products in the hands of the best publishers - as well as to help developers secure excellent deals with only trustworthy partners.
We empower publishers and platform holders to discover the best games and apps.
We empower development studios to unveil their products to global and regional partners, and to negotiate and secure top-tier deals.
Two sided audience: development studios and publishers. Both primarily in gaming, primarily in mobile, but clients will include non-gaming occasionally, and may include other platforms (PC, VR/AR).
Dev studios profile: scattered around the world, primarily small (1-10 people, sometimes 10-50). Excellent at making products, but needs exposure to global partners and navigating the business side of sealing deals.
Publisher profile: larger (50+ employees often), excellent at marketing and distribution, above all they want to discover great products from indie developers.
I want to downplay the "consultancy" component - to publishers, SGA is just the company that holds the rights to a bunch of games/apps. To dev's - we open doors around the world for them.
Modern and clean.
I imagine an actual star will be within the design, but it certainly doesn't have to be.
While this is primarily in the gaming industry, the logo needs to connote professionalism and stability.
It should not be overly whimsical.
It should be broad enough to be useable within app industries and broader software industries if necessary, not just mobile games.
If you google "Mobile Game Publisher" or "mobile game publisher logo" it gives a decent idea - vibrant and modern but professional.
This is the first design step of many. No guarantees obviously, but we are hoping to find like-minded designers to build out the broader website/social media etc. in Q1 2019. Would be great to build that kind of relationship.

Thanks in advance!
