I have set aside dedicated time for considering the logo design while the competition is running. So I hope to be able to quickly give the designer I work with helpful, concise and instructive feedback to make this a smooth and easy painless project.
I do not want any pictures of foodtrucks, chef hats or knives and forks in the logo.
I have a logo concept which I hope you can build upon/expand/generally make better . My idea is that the background of the logo will be the Union Jack British flag but the red, white and blue colours will be replaced. Colour scheme for flag could be grayscale or pastels.
On top of the flag will be the name of the company Sixes & Sevens framed inside a shape. Font colour I was thinking teal or turquoise. Layout I’m interested in seeing different options. I like the trend for diagonal sloping logos or maybe ‘Sixes &’ written on one line with ‘Sevens’ underneath.
One idea for the company name layout is that the word Sixes will be written with an oversized S then each proceeding letter getting smaller, the word Sevens would be written underneath with each letter getting progressively bigger.
Fonts I like are Selfie or Nexa rust but I’m interested to see more options. One major consideration for font choice is that my company name needs to be clearly recognisable and readable from a distance as people approach the truck. So I think overly swirly, stylised fonts are not appropriate. I would like a designer that can tell me if the fonts and colour schemes are good for large sign lettering.
I need all digital formats of the logo for web, small & large print. The largest vinyl decal on the truck will be 8ft.
I have been trying out some colour schemes in the document attached. First I thought a grey flag looks nice, but the truck is battleship grey so maybe some colour needs to be introduce into the flag.
I have a pinterest board of fonts I like i can send
