I am looking to create a cannabis brand that begins to break away from the cannabis culture. I want it to have a refined look, but still be fun and creative.
The products we sell are vaporizer pens filled with cannabis oil. We are targeting casual users between the ages of 40 and 65.
The logo will be displayed on the the packaging, the actual product and on the website, social media, and other advertising platforms.
The new cannabis law in California allows for the designation of growing appellations similar to what is seen in the wine industry. This allows cultivators who grow in natural environments using organic methods to differentiate themselves from other cultivators. We see this as a marketing opportunity that can be directed at an older demographic used to consuming premium products such as higher end wines and craft beer. The concept of different wine varietals being distinguished by appellation is a product characteristic they would have encountered while wine tasting, making them immediately aware of this value proposition. We will recreate that same experience by providing in-depth information on the individual cultivators, the appellation from which the cannabis originated, and the growing practices utilized. With each strain we will draw unique parallels between the flavors and effects the user is experiencing and the appellation and cultivator from which it originated.
Eventually we will begin formulating cannabis oil that is augmented with other essential oils and ingredients. These products will be aimed at providing the user with oils that provide distinct flavors and effects. There are hundreds of terpenes produced by plants other than cannabis, many of which are known to provide unique flavors and effects when consumed.
