Astonia Co. (With the tag-line "Stone Artisans" incorporated somehow)
Astonia Co. is the product of 2 merged granite countertop businesses.
Combined as Astonia we are preparing to make an epic push to capture new customers. We will be doing tons of marketing and need a lot of support materials to do that.I need your talents now and in the future!
My company produces granite countertops. I take a lot of pride in customer service and I'm not just saying that. My customers are important to me and I tell them that. I'm not the cheapest provider out there, but I'm not the most expensive either.
My company is filled with talented Artisans. People who are allowed to use their abilities to augment the natural beauty of stone.
I am growing into new areas and store locations and want to update all of my marketing materials to reflect the level of excellence we provide with our products.
I want this logo to be part of the story I tell and sell. This is important! I want it to look like something made by an artist. An artisan. I hope, by you!
Customers range from middle class to wealthy. Ages range from 25-75 and their taste range is just as broad.
Most are doing a kitchen product that they've dreamed about their whole lives. Very few are getting granite for the second time.
Most have some fear. This is the biggest obstacle I have to overcome. People are afraid of getting screwed. My first goal with a customer is to find their needs and build trust.
All are looking for something special. Even if they can't afford it.
I strongly dislike customers who are only concerned with price. They pay NO attention to any detail other than $$. My customers are concerned about the details like design, cleanliness, material quality, installation quality and interactions with skilled professionals.
My customers pursue excellence and tend to be driven. Some are even just trying to keep up with what someone else has. I don't agree with that, but I'm here to meet their needs. I'll provide something special.
Nothing Cheap. No cartoons, or anything gimicky.
Detail is good, but not foo foo fancy.
If it's something old world or "Italian themed", that's fine, but it needs to appear fresh somehow. Possibly because of graphics, or details.? I'll be ready to give input when I like something, or even when I don't.
I don't want to be vague, but I'm open to your ideas and creativity. I'd like to see what you come up with for this first project and as I said, I'll give quick feedback and learn better what to share in the future.
I'm looking for branding, but also a logo that starts to tell our story of quality, luxury, and experience. Through additional advertising pieces, I will flush out the complete story.
I'll attach our old logos.
