Griffin Choral Arts
Griffin Choral Arts has been providing great choral music to our community since the fall of 2007. We already have a very professional looking website (http://www.griffinchoralarts.org). We now seek to strengthen our brand by finding a logo that we can use for stationery, for print media and advertising, and that we can incorporate into our website. Our choir is unique from other community choirs in that we strive to think outside the box for our concert offerings and not simply sing the standard, often overdone repertoire.

We would like to appeal to a wide demographic by projecting an air of professionalism, elan, and edginess. We want to maintain our appeal to the typical consumers of classical music while expanding our market to include younger, hipper concert-goers.
The successful designer may be considered for future graphic design projects. We plan each season around a four-icon graphic design, based on our four concert themes. These icons are used on our concert posters, the website, and other promotional materials.
The successful design will combine our desire to project a classical foundation and our desire to innovate through creative programming.
We want a design that we can use immediately to create letterhead/envelopes, to use on a postcard advertising our coming season offerings, and to update our website.
The design will creatively use the our acronym "GCA" or the full name "Griffin Choral Arts" (or both?).
We would like a design that works in black-and-white as well as in color.
