We are a real estate investment management firm. We raise money from institutional investors ($15-50 million per deal) and buy commercial office properties (office, retail, apartments, industrial buildings). The target audience will be institutional investors primarily (think Blackstone, KKR), who we feel respect clean lines and simplicity. Nothwithstanding, we are young guys and consider ourselves to be the "next generation" of real estate investor. We would also like to try and distinguish ourselves as creative, flexible, nimble, and fun, while also being trustworthy, diligent and reliable.
SoMa is a neighborhood in San Francisco where we were founded. SoMa is mostly filled with new technology companies and young kids. Its an up and coming real estate market, for this reason. We see a lot of similarities between ourselves and SoMa- young, nextgen, creative, fast moving, etc but we sit in an institutional world. Its a great differentiating characteristic to other firms.
