I'm open to whatever you can come up with. I had thought of possibly having the iPod headphones kinda form the X in Gen-X.
Perhaps incorporating the different types of music media used over the years. Cassettes, CDs, MP3s
Perhaps using styles from the 90s, aughts and present day since the story takes place over that time period.
Technology and Music are key components of the film.
A clean, non-cluttered design is ideal. I'm open to whatever color scheme you come up with. If you've ever used the "Moves" app for the iPhone - I really enjoy the colors/design they used in that app. You can check it out here: http://www.moves-app.com/
Another possible idea to play off the "evolution" thing. Show a sampling of silhouettes. One leaning against a wall with headphones on. Another with a boombox. Perhaps one with a smartphone/tablet device or another on a laptop. Just an idea.
One note I might make, and this may not have been in the brief, but it's just a thought to potentially add the human element. A human touch if you will. While this is a film about the changes in formats obviously, it's also about the changes in how we go about buying music. From the record store to iTunes. Just a thought.
I've attached a cover photo for a previous Kickstarter campaign I ran. It was for a crime thriller set in Chicago.
