The childcare experience affects development of children, but is undervalued in light of its enormous impact. We shift the hearts and minds of parents and childcare providers by adding satisfaction, joy, and empowerment. The provider experience feeds the child's experience.
We connect people with their own potential by seeing and supporting possibility and encouraging growth. We believe in challenge, experimentation, sharing, communication and always getting better.

We will be using WordPress to represent our business on the web and to build a newsletter and web following. Having unique content, our own voice and our own look will be crucial to our success.
Descriptive terms that should apply to the WordPress design:
simple, clean, professional, engaging, inspiring, inviting, powerful
The WordPress design should support and use our logo (attached below).
Some website inspiration. Look at http://www.vaultpress.com. We are not looking to duplicate that look. What are looking to replicate: This site is special. This site is a perfect balance between whimsy and seriousness. This site has its own voice and clearly reflects the "personality" of the business. It oozes power and confidence. So much so that it can be playful without diluting the reader's confidence in the business. Get that feeling, but with our voice/personality and you've nailed it.
The blog will feature photos, perhaps as page banners and embedded in content. See our istockphoto lightbox: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_sea…oveCache=1 for some photos we are considering.
We like some dimensionality. We want the design to be warm, rich & soft while also being powerful.
We have types of WordPress articles that must be visually distinct, yet complimentary and work will with our logo/colors. We categorize some articles "Worth and Mirth". These are written centrally subject the an editorial policy and published on the blog. We categorize other articles as "My Circle". These are community-generated and must be be clearly different in appearance from "Worth and Mirth" articles. For example, they may have a different background color.
We require vector files and web-optimized raster files.
