The Office Planning Group
I work for a marketing consultancy and our client needs a whole new website. Our client is an easy going person and his focus is on return on investment. He is not concerned with flashy and pretty designs. He wants something that his potential customers can go to and find out about my client and turn into a lead. They are an office furniture dealer located in New Orleans, LA. and the market has slowed down significantly for office furniture.
I will be managing this project and have experience with doing this and know exactly what our client needs. This will reduce the amount revisions and back and forth that usually happens in the design phase. We have a really tight timeline for getting these designs completed. With that said I have already completed the wireframes for the different pages on the website.
*Please submit a design for the home page and a quote for how much you would require to complete the additional 4 pages.
The markets our client serves is typically businesses with 35-200 employees. He really focuses on office managers and entrepreneurs (see white paper attached for customer personas). These people are typically responsible for hiring an office furniture dealer to purchase and install office furniture into their office space. These target customers don't typically have a lot of experience in working with an office furniture dealer so it important that the website is very easy to navigate and builds trust with the visitor.
To get an in depth idea of who the target audience is please read the white paper attached. It references personalities and decision making processes for the typical customers of our client.
The details of this project brief are prioritized below:
#1 - This project is on a tight timeline it must be completed by Aug 13th.
#2 - Attached is the current logo for our client. It needs to be updated. I will allow you to do what you want with the logo to incorporate it into the website. Their logo wants to represent trust, easy to work with, full service. Feel free to get creative or just make minor adjustments.
#3 - Absolutely must stick to the wireframes that are attached. I designed them exactly how the client wants it.
#4 - In the wireframes you will notice different shades of gray. These are use to distinguish the importance of a certain part of the page. The darker the gray means the more emphasis in the design we want on that part. Please take this into consideration when designing the various parts of the website. However, this does not mean to use grey as your only color choice. Feel free to experiment, but I prefer no bold stand out colors.
#5 - For the internal pages there is a brand marker next to the page's h1 tag. Please create a brand market that matches the overall theme of your design.
- Please refer to our clients current website for ideas about them http://www.officeplanninggroup.com
- Refer to another client of ours website for an almost identical website http://www.sandiegocubicles.com. This website currently converts at 4-6% so it means the current layout and design are working.
