We recently updated our website (borneoproject.org), and our logo no longer works in the top left sitting atop the dark photo backgrounds. To sit in that space, it will need to be a bit bolder so that it stands out from the page.
We have the old logo, with a Sarawakian local design. We also use a Kingfisher bird photo as our social media identity, from a photo that our Co-Founder took. It would be great to get a favicon, a square image logo and a word logo using some or all of these elements. No orang utans please! Although we work in the jungle our main focus is on human rights and land rights, unlike many of our friends who work with our lovely orang apes.
As you can see, we do not have consistent brand imagery across our platforms. Because we want to inspire action and hope, we like our media to be friendly, without being childish and turning away potential donors. Classy, simple, but with some kind of organic or indigenous element.
I'm looking for an updated version of the same logo - with a colour scheme and font that matches our new website. But feel free to also play around with the bird idea too!
I've also attached the logos of Earth Justice and Survival International, which I like.
