Wie kraltvannes das erste buchcover Abenteuer antrat
Eva de Waerd
I'm just a normal girl, with a normal life, who's annoyed with all the unrealistically easy HEAs in romance novels. Even if people find happiness after trauma, life isn't easy. So I wrote a story that's about the ever after, even if it's less than happy.
Eva survived what others did not, but inside, she's barely alive. Shunning most social interactions, she spends most of her free time training her guard dog. Until one man sees her for what she used to be, and fights to reach her.
This story is written for women all over the world. It's situated in the Netherlands, but written in English since Eva's an American expat.
Ich weiß es noch nicht.
Designs zur Inspiration
I love the calmth of this cover, yet at the same time, it's mysterious and captures the imagination. Why is that person out on that lonely, barren land?
I like the face that's there, but blended into the total. The font creeps me out a little, though.
I like the sketched effect, that it's a drawing, not a picture. Also, there's more than the few suitcases, only you have to keep watching to find it all.

I'm looking for an illustration of a woman who's climbed up a tree. I'm hoping it's possible to create an image in which the tall, slim woman blends in with the branches. Maybe you shouldn't see her at first glance, but once you look better, she's right there and how could you have missed her?
Was vermieden werden soll
The cover should be free of copyright, and not too threatening. The woods can be shaded and gray, but it's not a horror story, so it shouldn't be a creepy image. At the same time, it's a serious story which includes PTSD and sexual assault, so it shouldn't be a happy cartoon either.
