Mimi Amaral is a pioneer for Entertainment Psychology, an aspired division within the American Psychology Association. Additionally, she is an author, journalist, inventor of a mediation delivery system, designer of clothing line (MHR campaigning for Mutual Human Respect), and a speaker bringing awareness to Entertainment Psychology, abuse toward men, and RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network).
This book delves into bringing awareness to the fact that men are abused too. Women can be, and have been, the predators—yet family, friends, society, authorities, and even men themselves struggle with this concept because of the way current culture views abuse.
Discussed within this book are: aspects of abuse (i.e., emotional, verbal, mental, physical, and gaslighting), lack of support for men, statistics on abuse of men by women, and added testimonies from men who have lived through abuse and removed themselves and their child/children from an unhealthy relationship.
Target market: Any man who has been abused and or emasculate by their intimate partner/wife, sociologist, psychologist, and anyone trying to help young men and men see the abuse they are enduring. All ages, all ethnicities, and all economic demographics.

I want the background to be low-lighted houses from the suburbs [Middle Class … Not main focus, but obvious it is suburbs] I want a man in a business suit, jacket off lying next to him, tie loosened, white button down shirt, slacks, sitting on sidewalk of street, under a nice looking street light above him, lighting him up, but not too bright, also allowing the back ground of houses to be present but not dominate. I want him to look very, very distraught, hands on head with his head down … He has been so emasculated, and feels so incredibly lost, hopeless, lonely, and isolated from the abuse he has been enduring in silence because no one would believe him or witness his inner pain. Wet street or rain would add to the mood. See attached images.
